Who We Are

"Aligned funding has allowed us to leverage our investments towards workforce development, creating a positive economic impact for Los Angeles residents and businesses."
- Ray Reisler, S. Mark Taper Foundation
The Los Angeles Workforce Funders Collaborative is dedicated to improving the quality of life for L.A. County residents by investing in workforce development systems that create jobs and careers, and help businesses succeed in a post-recession economy.

We are foundations, corporations and public bodies brought together by United Way of Greater Los Angeles to: align funds to create and expand workforce partnerships; invest in strategic planning; and overcome fragmentation by bringing together local leadership. We also partner in a larger national strategy with the National Fund for Workforce Solutions.

Together, we have invested more than $3 million and affected the lives of more than 3,000 families.
