LAWFC Members

"The LAWFC is a good way for us to share the administrative costs of operating a workforce partnership initiative and allows us to be more strategic in our investments."
- Dannielle Campos, Bank of America Foundation
The LAWFC members have made a five year commitment with a long term goal to invest $10 million by 2013. United Way of Greater Los Angeles is the lead agency and provides administrative, research and evaluation support. All members participate in LAWFC governance and the Stakeholder Consultation Group, comprised of representatives from local community colleges, chambers of commerce, labor, business, and local government representatives—members provide guidance in regional workforce development efforts and industry trends. Continuous quality improvement is built into the LAWFC processes and is ensured through contracted evaluators at the local and national levels.
